1. The service
Unik is an iPhone app, with an online service behind it, for operating IskraLabs control boxes on yachts and for sharing access to them. It is provided by IskraLabs [full legal name and company number], Sermin 75P, 6000 Koper - Capodistria, Slovenija ("we"). By creating an account you accept these terms.
2. Your account
- An account belongs to one person and is tied to an email address you can receive mail at. You sign in with codes sent to that address.
- Keep your phone and your email account secure. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app.
3. Yachts, boxes and sharing
- Add only boxes that you own or are allowed to manage. A box belongs to one yacht at a time.
- If a box you own is on someone else's yacht, report it in the app. After checking proof of ownership, we may release the box from that yacht.
- The owner of a yacht decides who can use it and until when, and can change or end that access at any time. When access ends, the yacht disappears from the member's app.
- Send invitations only to people who expect them.
4. Safety
- Unik operates moving equipment such as gangways, lifts, stairs, cranes and doors, which can injure people or cause damage. Operate it only when you can see the equipment and nobody and nothing is in its way. Follow the equipment's manuals and the rules that apply on board and in port.
- Moving parts move only while you hold their button. Bluetooth has a limited range and a connection can drop. If it drops while you hold a button, the box stops on its own after a short safety timeout [confirm the timeout with the firmware team], so watch the equipment until it has stopped.
- Unik is not an emergency stop. In an emergency, use the equipment's own stop controls.
- Unik controls access in the app, not in the box. It decides who can see and use a yacht in Unik, but other apps or tools can still reach a box over Bluetooth. Keeping the boat physically secure stays your responsibility.
5. Fair use
Don't use Unik against the law, don't interfere with the service or other users, and don't try to get around its limits or security. We may limit how often some actions can be done, for example adding boxes or sending invitations.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Unik available but can't promise that it always is. We may change, improve or remove features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you in the app before the change applies.
7. Liability

8. Ending
You can stop using Unik and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and tell you why unless the law prevents it.
